The Atelier,
J.S.R. Bagh
Where Honour Becomes Heritage
A family estate restored in memory of Brigadier Jagmal Singh Rathore — now a quiet co-working space, residence and café for Bikaner's young professionals. Opening mid-November 2026.
Named for the man whose home this was
The Atelier takes its initials, J.S.R., from Brigadier Jagmal Singh Rathore — father, soldier, and the man who lived here. After his passing, his daughter's restoration brought the estate back to life as a tribute to him. His paintings, photographs and wooden furniture still furnish the rooms; this isn't themed heritage decor, it's his, kept exactly as it was.
What began as a tribute is now also a working space for the city's young professionals — desks, private rooms and a meeting room for anyone who needs a quiet, reliable place to work, meet, or step away from home.
